Great run with a good pace. I was able to sprint the last mile and kept up my pace for most of the eight miles. Many of the miles I ran an 8.20mile, which for me is a nice time. Felt great. Looking forward to the next run!
Cheers

Rainy run today around Lake Padden at a good pace for me! Felt great! Got my sights on 9 miles or so on Thursday!
Workout:
I ran 4 miles with sprints and jogging fartliks (I think that is how you spell it). It was great to get the heart racing and lungs working. Good stuff!

I am in a bit of a panic, there are three weeks left until my first half and I haven’t climbed back into the double digits since last month. I know I will finsih the race, I am just not as confident as I as hoping to be and not as far along. Tight calves and ITB issues really set me back. It as great to run with a good friend today!
Workout:
I wish I could take every Wednesday off of work and do a mid morning run. Felt good today. Calves are still really, really tight, but I am trying new shoes and some new exercises.

Yikes less than 4 weeks.

I was incredibly appreciative of my good friend Sum and her company running today. We headed to a beautiful area, ran, caught up with each other and sweat like crazy! Good way to start the weekend. Here’s to good friends and good runs (or what ever your activity maybe)!
Workout:
I went to my naturopath yesterday to find out more about my IT band issue and extremely tight calves. I found out I had a magnesium deficiency. Hopefully supplements will help and I will be back to feeling good. I have 5 weeks until my first half marathon and I am determined to finsih with gusto. I was doing so well about 2 weeks ago, ran 10 miles and felt great, then things started to hurt and feel off. Looking forward to increasing miles again and getting back to that runners high.
Workout:
I am starting to pick up the pace again, but still sticking to lower mileage. I can’t wait to be back to 10 plus miles. I have only 5 weeks until the Dublin half marathon so I need to get back there quickly. I am using super feet to help with my IT Band and I am finding my calves really tired. Has anyone every experience that with Super Feet?
Workout:
Good yoga pratice today. Nice to stretch and build strength.
